Well, all, I’m back from my trip abroad and am ready to jump right back in to life here. Sort of.
I’ll be at the Matt Pond PA/Rocky Votolato show tonight. They were both fantastic when I saw them earlier this year at Subterranean, so this show shouldn’t be any different.
If you’re looking for something unique this weekend, you should check out the Brilliant Corners of Popular Amusement festival, running Friday through Sunday at Eckhart Park (Chicago & Noble). Each day features music, cabaret acts, and a reprise of the Renegade Craft Fair. Admission to the craft fair is free, although the music stages are ticketed events. Proceeds from selected events will go to local non-profits, including my personal favorite, CHIRP Radio.
