We’ve already been over the part where Tuesdays are terrible. Some gossip might help!
Music journalist Jon Niccum has started up The Worst Gig, where he posts stories from interviews he’s done about the worst shows bands or musicians have ever played. Artists already up include Gillian Welch, Wilco (interview with John Stirratt), Rufus Wainwright, Laurie Anderson, the Presidents of the United States of America, and the Flaming Lips. It’s a good way to spend an hour or so right now, and it’s definitely a site to keep an eye on.
(On a purely Wilco-related note, I’ve seen references to Sasquatch 2004 as a low point in the band’s performance from other members and technicians — time for some research!)
